a. Auditing Services

The scope of our audit services are determined by the statute under which we are appointed, the objectives being to issue report that meets the requirements of the particular statute regulating the model of operation of the organization which we are auditing.

In the process of carrying out Audits, we become aware of the various strengths and weaknesses in the client’s system of internal check and control, which we usually communicate to the governing board of the organization through what we call Domestic Report or Management Letter. In this report, we make recommendations and suggestions for improvement and process enrichment.

Explanatory note are also given to clients reflecting international best practices with justification. In order words, at the end of an Audit exercise, we produce two reports:

i. Domestic Report/Management Letter
ii. Statutory Report

We also review existing internal control and Audit systems and processes leading to the design and production of internal control and audit manuals which conforms to recognized local and international Auditing standards. This ensures standardization of internal Audit and control practices across all branches and formations of our clients.

b. Taxation & Advisory Services

We provide tax advisory and consultancy services to our clients in the following areas:

i. Prepare tax computations based on Audited Accounts for submission to the Federal Inland Revenue Service, attend to queries raised thereon and agree the tax liabilities due and obtain the company’s income tax clearance certificate.
ii. Advise on taxation implication of contract with non-resident companies.
iii. Advise generally on tax planning
iv. Provide personal income tax consultancy services in the areas of submitting tax forms, agreeing same with the State Board of Internal Revenue, obtaining individual tax card and tax clearance certificates as at when due to the executives and employees of our clients.

c. Review Design and Implementation of Accounting, Audit and Budgeting Procedures

We help our client’s review existing Accounting and Audit (both internal and external) procedures leading to the identification of their respective strengths and weaknesses for process improvement and enrichment. We also design Accounting business processes to conform to local and international Accounting standards. We have participated in reforms processes leading to the embrace of the Multi Year Budgeting Framework (MYBF) with specific reference to the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) in some states of Nigeria.
